Other Ways to Give:

  • Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) is the minimum amount of money the IRS requires you to withdraw annually from tax-deferred retirement accounts, such as traditional IRAS, 401(k)s, 403(b)s, and SEP IRAs, starting at age 73. When you give all or a portion of your RMD to a charitable organization, it is called a “Qualified Charitable Distribution” (QCD). For many people, RMDs are an excellent and convenient way to earn tax benefits by contributing to your charity of choice. Confer with your tax professional for more details.
